Production Designer

A controlled studio build centred on a double-decker bus interior, using containment to shape both space and atmosphere. The environment is defined by its limits, with condensation on the windows forming a soft boundary, allowing the exterior world to fall away rather than be described.

Street lighting was introduced outside the bus to create depth and movement through the glass, extending the space without overcomplicating it. The outside world is present, but reduced to light, rhythm and suggestion.

The interior was kept deliberately clear to accommodate motion control, with props and dressing focused on small, precise details within the frame. Character elements are used sparingly, adding texture without interrupting the spatial read.

Atmosphere is constructed through constraint, with the world defined as much by its edges as its contents
